Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year Awards
There was plenty of glamourous winners at the Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year awards, but it was of course the hair and beauty of the red carpet that grabbed our attention. The glitzy event at Claridge’s honoured some of the best and brightest women from fashion, television and the arts, and of course attracted some of the most glam stars for the evening.
Victoria Beckham was there to receive an award for Special Contribution to Fashion, and left husband David at home to babysit. She didn’t fly solo, though, taking 14 year old Brooklyn along for the night. The teenager showed the men how style is done with his sharp suit and casual quiffed hairstyle. He’s definitely going to be one to watch in the fashion stakes, with parents who’ve been hitting style headlines for years!
Another favourite of ours, Mollie King from The Saturdays, didn’t fail to impress with an on trend look that was fashion focused. Stripping back her look from the heavy makeup of her on-stage style, Mollie’s natural beauty look was enhanced by a strong brow and dewy skin. The messy-look updo really pulls the look together, giving her root regrowth an easy blend into the soft blonde of her lengths – a look that’s straight from the catwalks.
Scooping a music award on the night, Rita Ora didn’t fail to make an impression with her style, as ever. She debuted an extreme platinum blonde shade, paired with bold brows and dark makeup. It takes confidence to wear such a strong look, but we love how she’s showing how platinum can work for many different skin-tones. Very chic, and a head-turning style for the right reasons.
