2017 Hair Colours

If you’re thinking of switching up your hair colour, the new year is the perfect time to do it. While our stylists are on hand to transform you with any shade of blonde, brunette, black or red that you could wish for, there are also some key hair colour trends for 2017 that you might like to consider.

If you’re feeling bold, then wear these must-have 2017 colours all over your hair. For a more subtle nod to the trends, experiment with a technique such as ombre, or ask your colourist to paint colour on to individual sections. However you wear them,

2017 Hair Colours: Metallic Blonde

Pastel grey hair has been popular for several seasons now, with both young and older guests embracing this on-trend and easy-to-manage hue. This year, it’s time to go a couple of shades lighter. White blonde is one of the must-have colours for 2017, with grey undertones creating a metallic finish that catches the light. Think pearlescent as opposed to silver, and don’t be afraid to let darker roots poke through.

2017 Hair Colours: Acid Brights

This Spring/Summer, colour is going bolder than ever before. All colours from across the spectrum are acceptable, as long as they’re bright and eye-catching. On the catwalks, colour was painted on to individual strands and sections for an ombre rainbow effect; but for a more wearable look, you might want to consider peekaboo flashes of colour in blonde or dark hair.

2017 Hair Colours: Brick Orange

As we move into Autumn/Winter, we see a reemergence of last year’s popular earthy tones with this rich brick orange. For 2017, however, the matte texture of last year has been replaced with a high shine finish for added sophistication.

2017 Hair Colours: Autumnal Green

Pantone’s announced their 2017 Colour of the Year as ‘greenery’, a “fresh and zesty yellow-green shade”. If you’re unsure on how to wear this striking hue, we recommend blending it with another key colour trend for 2017: diffused colour. A wash of faded pastels, as seen as Philipp Plein (above), is the perfect way to introduce this on-trend shade.

2017 Hair Colours: Berry

Finally, the autumn of 2017 is set to see berry-toned purples and reds make a big comeback. Whether you go for all-over colour or have the shade painted onto darker hair, this look is guaranteed to look sumptuous as we head into the party season.
