Guy Cammarano’s Picks from London Fashion Week

It was New York Fashion Week last week and this week it’s been London‘s turn. We’ve seen some fantastic shows and some super styles on the catwalks. Guy Cammarano, our UK Creative Director, has picked out some of his favourites so far, including shows from Meadham Kirchhoff, Ashish, John Rocha, Fred Butler and Aminaka Wilmont.

Meadham Kirchhoff Show at London Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

“I love the soft and lose curls here and the way the clothes work together. A sensational show and one of my favourites so far.”

Ashish Show at London Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

“Again a very lose bun compliments the rough-and-ready style in this collection. It falls out nicely and looks like something that could be done quick and easy at home, though the stylists have obviously taken a great deal of time to make it look quite effortless.”

John Rocha at London Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

“The hats here look so great, creating a dramatic asymmetric fringe but still keeping the hair natural-looking, loose and soft underneath.”

Fred Butler at London Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

“I really love the strength this portrays. The shapes and colours of this style make this a very unique look that recalls the styles of the seventies whilst also being very modern.”

Aminaka Wilmont at London Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

“Again, an amazing look at London Fashion Week. Here the hair is tied back, letting the hair fall naturally over the shoulder. Place a short hair piece at the front so as to create this a strong fringe look.”
