Emma Willis: Fun in London with bloggers and the Regis team
The 21st of March was a very exciting day. I was invited to one of the flagship Regis Salons in the Debenhams on Oxford Street, London for a morning of pampering with four lovely bloggers.
I met Pippa from A Mothers Ramblings, Jules from Curtains for the Window, Debbie from MotivatingMum and Becca from Fashion Train who were all winners of the Regis Salons blogger competition, which ran for those who helped to announce the Face of Regis online last Autumn.
At the salon we all received a consultation with Regis UK Creative Director, Guy Camarano, who gave us expert advice about what would suit us best tailored to our individual hair and style. Then we were preened and beautified by an array of salon treatments and a team of Regis stylists.
Pippa plumped for a manicure and a shorter look for her hair, with highlights, expertly styled by the lovely Rainey – a resident stylist at the Oxford Street salon.
Trafford Centre salon stylist and member of the Regis Artistic team, Chris Tilley, gave Jules an all-over plum shade with a sleek finish, complemented with a bang-on-trend taupe manicure.
Debbie was treated to a conditioning treatment and silky bob from Guy, as well as a stunning fuchsia pedicure.
Last but not least, Becca, had her hair styled and coloured a rich claret tone by, Oxford Street salon manager, Asha before opting for a hot pink nail colour to go with her look.
Not wanting to miss out I chose a manicure in a glossy jet black and the talented Guy used his expertise to give me one of the best cuts I’ve ever had!
The fun didn’t stop there as we had carriages awaiting to take us to the (very swish!) Cumberland Hotel. Once we arrived we headed to a private room so we could give out prizes to the Regis Salons staff incentive winners. These team members have been outstanding and this award recognises the effort they’ve put in at their salon over the last year.
After the incentive winners had been given their award and shopping vouchers we ambled over to our table where we had lunch from a specially created menu.
I left not long after that, but from what I hear the Regis team had a grand time spending their vouchers, dancing the night away and staying in their swanky hotel rooms. Jealous!
A big congratulations again to all the incentive and competition winners – it was lovely to meet you all.
