VOGUE | Kieron Fowles’ BHA 2017 Collection
In July, we made the exciting announcement that Kieron Fowles has made it to the finals of the British Hairdressing Awards 2017. With the big night fast approaching, we can now reveal Kieron’s exclusive BHA collection: Vogue.
The exciting image collection is a prevailing mix of fashion and style from a bygone era to the modern day. Portraying the coming together of fashion and hair styling, it celebrates editorial hair and all of its facets: sexiness, versatility, texture, structure and shape. The Vogue collection portrays powerful women with a sadistic edge, who love to dominate and rule. Taking inspiration from art, the collection showcases a sense of attraction and the ever growing modern movement, with reference to its unforgettable love: the past.
Kieron worked with some of the most renowned names in the industry to create this year’s BHA collection, including photographer Andrew O’Toole, fashion stylist Jiv D and celebrity MUA Naoko Scintu. It is his third consecutive year being recognised at the prestigious awards, and is the latest accolade in Kieron’s growing industry reputation.
2017 has been an incredibly busy year for our Creative Director. As well as creating Vogue, Kieron has also continued to grow his extensive session styling experience globally at the key fashion weeks of London, Paris and Milan, working with the world-renowned session stylists Eugene Souleiman and Tina Outen. He also created the new window campaign for all Regis salons, the Juxtaposition collection, while still transforming clients’ hair in our busy Birmingham city centre salon.
British Hairdressing Awards 2017
Our Birmingham-based Creative Director is nominated as the Midlands Hairdresser of the Year for the third consecutive year. Achieving this nomination is no small feat, with hundreds of hairdressers from around the country submitting photographic collections for the renowned awards. The 75 judges in the first round were made up of industry experts, hairdressing icons from across the globe, as well as session stylists to the stars and creative leaders. Together, they viewed the UK’s largest photographic award exhibition display and whittled down the applicants.
As one of just six finalists in the category, Kieron Fowles has a fantastic platform from which to showcase his exceptional hairdressing skills. The British Hairdressing Awards have launched the careers of a host of household names: from TIGI founder Anthony Mascolo to TV favourites Lisa Shepherd and Andrew Barton.
The winner of the Midlands Hairdresser of the Year, along with the 15 other categories, are all to be announced at The British Hairdressing Awards, which takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday 27 November.
