Glamour Magazine: Women of the Year Awards 2012

Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year awards were held this week in Mayfair, London, and despite the presence of some top American celebs including Jessica Alba, Kelly Rowland and Naomi Watts, it was us Brits who caught the eye of our colour educator Angela Logan. Dionne Warwick took home the Icon award, whilst Lily Collins won the Breakthrough Award and Jessie J was named best Solo Artist. Angela Logan gives us her views from the red carpet…

“The British ladies went all out with the Summer look. I saw them and just thought, ‘wow!’. Amanda Holden, Kelly Brook and Abbey Clancy all arrived in stunning white outfits, perfect for a Summer’s evening in the capital!

“We saw Kelly and Amanda with soft up-do, which is band-on trend this season, especially on evening’s dining out. My favourite though was Fearne Cotton. She impressed me a lot this week at the BAFTA’s with her vintage look and this lady never disappoints us with her amazing styles. This time Fearne opted for a sleek, bouncy long bob and once again looked absolutly stunning.

“Kylie is proving she is all woman in this stunning gold gown. It shows off her toned figure and she’s gone for a lovely simple wave with her gorgeous locks. A real foxy lady!”
