Men’s Style: McFly’s Harry Judd
The Regis Salons Artistic Team take a look at the current style of McFly drummer and Strictly Come Dancing winner, Harry Judd:
Twelve million people tuned in to see Harry Judd win Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday evening, pipping Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey to the post. Harry, member of pop band McFly, looked dashing as he danced the American Smooth and Argentine Tango to win the hearts of millions of girls around the country.
Harry originally took the UK pop charts by storm back in 2003 when McFly burst onto the scene with their debut single, 5 Colours in Her Hair, and he has had a number of styles over the years. From the spiky Green Day/Blink-182 inspired pop-punk look he started out with to the tougher shaved style he had three years ago, Harry now adopts a more mature, short and manageable haircut with a gelled, spiky quiff.
Easy to maintain, this newer look requires him to simply towel-dry the hair and style with Designline Sculpting Mud, running the fingers through the hair in the direction he’d like it to go. The flick at the front creates an added dimension that retains the pop-punk sensibilities he is renowned for.
Congratulations to Harry on winning Strictly, and with his bandmate Dougie Poynter winning the latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! it looks like it could be the beginning of a great year for the McFly boys.
