Style Notes: Fearne Cotton

Bobs are everywhere at the moment and one of our absolute favourite styles is Fearne’s luscious ‘60s style. The volume, movement and texture of this style keep it looking effortless and sophisticated. Recreate her ‘60s siren style at home with these top tips from The Edge’s Katie:

Step one: Prep your hair for blow drying with a spritz of Sebastian Reshaper. Blow dry using a large barrel brush such as the ghd Ceramic Vented Radial Brush Size 4, gently pulling the hair forward as you dry, to create extra lift at the roots. Seal in your volume with a brushable spray like Sebastian Shaper Zero Gravity.

Step two: For extra body and movement, use a large tong such as the ghd Curve Soft Curl Tong. Take larger sections than if you were simply curling your hair, to create much larger, softer curls. Brush through your curls with a paddle brush for a natural-looking finish.

Step three: To take your look from day to night, spritz some TIGI Bed Head Oh Bee Hive into your roots for ultra-modern matte texture that’s sure to get you noticed.
