Get the Halloween Look: Zombie
Halloween is just around the corner, which means aside from trick or treaters, scary films and pumpkin spice, we all know it’s really about one thing: fancy dress! The only time of year where adults are legitimately allowed to play dress up, 2018 is certainly not short on costume inspiration.
With that said, deciding your Halloween look this year is tricky. There is so much to choose from and with makeup and hair becoming increasingly bold and daring, it’s no wonder we’re spoilt for choice. We’re anticipating a continued theme of superhero outfits from Deadpool to Black Panther and a trendy twist on Halloween with pastel and opal colours – a welcomed addition for our unicorn and mermaid enthusiasts.
To decide this year’s Halloween look for Regis we met up with Creative Director Kieron Fowles. There is no denying we had an abundance of scary looks to choose from. As much as we love glittery and iridescent creations that radiate an other-worldly glow, we had a spookier classic in mind.
While everyone else dresses up as a unicorn, superhero, or Snapchat filter, why not rise to the occasion and transform yourself into a zombie? Typically, these looks depend on dramatic SFX style make up, which you can make as gory or cutesy as you want. You can even add a bit of glitter to your frightful zombie if your inner unicorn is just bursting at the seams. But, what about your Halloween hair? Don’t spoil your undead look by simply pulling back your hair into your standard ponytail. No, no, no. Nail your undead look by watching Creative Director Kieron Fowles create this scarily amazing Zombie look in 9 simple steps in the video below.
