Celebrity Style: The Best of the BAFTA Television Awards 2013
Last night’s BAFTA TV awards saw the finest stars from the British small screen out to celebrate a year of fabulous telly, and of course it was the perfect excuse for the celebs to step out in all their finery. Our picks are winning accolades for most stylish, with a range of hair and beauty styles to inspire.
The night belonged to Olivia Colman, picking up two individual acting awards and delivering an endearingly shocked speech for each one. We loved her look, too, adding glamour to her short hair style with some texture and accents. The soft and face-framing style perfectly offset the structural, plunging purple dress.
Joining Olivia in the emotional speech-giving stakes was Sheridan Smith, whose style was a winner too. Her soft retro rolls gave her style a timeless feel that’s ideal for the formal occasion. We especially love the contrast between the smooth, straight sections and the retro rolls. Get super-smooth luxury locks for yourself at Regis with the latest Kerastase Cristalliste Serum.
Another vintage do was seen on Kara Tointon, who looked flawless in her ode to wartime glamour. With a nod to the thirties trend, her column dress and neat updo work great together.
We can’t mention vintage style at the BAFTAs without giving a nod to Sienna Miller. A huge fan of sixties influence, Sienna mixed a demure retro style with the modernity of a high bun. Much more streamlined and stylish than a large topknot, the sleek ballerina bun and long sixties fringe really bring out her personal sense of style.
Who were your winners from the evening, in the categories and in the style stakes?
