The Best of the Brits 2013

The foggy weather didn’t stop the attendance of the some of the talented artists of the moment last night at the Brit Awards 2013, at London O2 arena. This year saw the sharpest suits, killer heels and designer wear galore, make an entrance on the red carpet.

Waiting with baited breath, the red carpet had my full attention to see who was in attendance and what everyone was wearing.  Justin Timberlake didn’t disappoint, he was aptly dressed in the finest ‘Suit and Tie’ by Tom Ford, and the bejewelled Dolce and Gabbana dress worn by the flame haired nominee Paloma Faith who, not one to be outdone by her outfit, also had a jewelled headpiece.

Jessie J was barely recognisable to me,  in her plunge neckline Versace dress and centre parting, a hair style seen all over the recent catwalks.

Unlike the Jimmy Choo heels worn by Jessie J, International Female Solo Artist winner Lana Del Rey dressed for comfort in kitten heels and casual Chanel dress which wouldn’t be my first choice to an music awards ceremony, but her side swept braid bought it all back for me, as this trend is a must for the coming season.

The nights double Brit award winner Emelie Sande’s hair was a winner for me. Her hair was groomed to perfection and as always showed the versatility of the pixie crop.
