Regis St Enoch’s, Glasgow
What’s your proudest achievement in your career so far?
Getting through to Wella TrendVision, and then becoming part of the Edge artistic team! It’s so exciting to combine working in salon with the more cutting edge and creative side of hairdressing.
What do you think makes Regis stand out in the hairdressing world?
The standard of service we give and show our guests in salon – we’re proud to be great stylists and look after our guests too.
What most excites you about being a part of the Edge Artistic Team?
Learning new cuts, colour techniques and ways to dress hair. It’s really helping me push myself further in my career and my skill as a stylist. Bringing that new knowledge in salon is always a boost.
As a stylist, what are you most passionate about?
I love avant-garde styling and updos, really pushing the boundaries with trends and looks. I also really enjoy cutting and creating new shapes.
Name some of your personal fashion & style inspirations
My personal style is a mismatch of old and new, based on 40s and 50s influences and modern influences mixed together. My hairdressing inspirations would have to be Darren Ambrose and Patrick Cameron.
If you could give one piece of advice to new guests, what would it be?
My advice would be to use less heat and more products. We see guests everyday who don’t use any products at all, but always apply heat. You can achieve so much styling power with the right products, and cut down on the everyday damage of heat stylers.
