Hair by Regis, Debenhams Gateshead
What’s your proudest achievement in your career so far?
Reaching the regional heats of my first Wella TrendVision competition, and also taking part in the Wella Master Colour programme.
What do you think makes Regis stand out in the hairdressing world?
Keeping stylists as current as possible with a variety of training, from the basic foundations to more creative training, there’s always an opportunity for us to learn more. Regis are not just about the technical side, they also value giving their guests the best possible experience in every one of their salons.
What most excites you about being a part of the Edge Artistic Team?
I’m excited about getting involved in the more creative side of the industry – I’ve always loved the thought of being involved in photo shoots and working backstage at fashion shows and The Edge is the perfect opportunity for these kind of experiences.
As a stylist, what are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about all aspects of the hairdressing industry, I love creative styling and updos but my main passion is definitely colour, taking part in the Wella Master Colour Programme has definitely boosted my confidence and passion for colour 100%
Name some of your personal fashion & style inspirations
I like to mix up my wardrobe, having a mixture of boho and a slightly grungier looks. I get some of my inspiration from Agyness Deyn and Madonna in the 80s as I love to accessorise, especially hair accessories.
As far as hairdressing heroes go, I spent a day working with Bruce Masefield and Edward Darley they were amazing to work alongside!
If you could give one piece of advice to new guests, what would it be?
Pictures! Have lots of pictures of styles you think you may like for yourself and we can work out together what will suit you best. If you are really unsure of what you want book in for a free consultation
